Same day and next day removals in South West London
Sometimes a move will not wait. Another firm has cancelled, a completion date has shifted, or a tenancy ends on Friday and nobody told you until Wednesday. Ring us and we will tell you there and then whether we can get a van to you.

When the firm you booked lets you down
It happens more than anyone admits. A van breaks down, a crew does not turn up, or a company that quoted cheap stops answering the phone the week before. You are left with a house full of boxes and a date you cannot move.
Ring us. Tell us where you are, where you are going, how many bedrooms and what floor. We will look at the diary while you are on the phone and give you a straight answer — yes we can, or no we cannot and here is who else to try. What you will not get is a form to fill in and a promise that somebody will be in touch.
Short notice does not mean a worse job. The same crew turns up, the same blankets and straps come off the van, and your things are covered by the same insurance as a move booked two months out.
Last minute completions
Completion dates move. A chain speeds up, a solicitor finally gets what they were waiting for, and suddenly you are completing on Friday instead of a fortnight on Tuesday. If the firm you booked cannot follow the date, that is exactly the sort of job we keep room for.
We are used to working around a completion rather than a clock. If the keys are not released until the afternoon we will load in the morning and wait, so the moment the call comes we are already outside.
Key delays happen. You get 30 minutes free at a key exchange; after that it is £60 per van. Talk to your solicitor early if the chain looks tight.
If completion slips and the move cannot finish that day, your things stay secure with us or go into storage until we can deliver.
Rented properties and tenancy deadlines
Rentals run to somebody else's calendar. The tenancy ends on a fixed date, the check-out inventory is booked for a set time, and the flat has to be empty before the clerk walks in. Agents rarely move any of it, and staying an extra day can cost you a chunk of your deposit.
So we work backwards from the deadline, not forwards from a start time. Tell us when the flat has to be empty and we will tell you what time we need to be there to make it.
That covers whole flats, a room out of a houseshare, student lets and landlords clearing a property between tenants. If your new place is not ready yet, your things can go into storage and come out when it is, rather than you taking a worse flat to fit the dates.
We work weekends and most bank holidays. We close on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. For a check-out deadline that falls awkwardly, ask about an early start or an evening — it is usually possible at short notice if we know in advance.
Getting a price in a hurry
A fixed written price before we start. No hourly meter, no bill that grows while you watch. That does not change because you rang us yesterday rather than last month.
For a short notice job we will usually work from photos or a quick video walk round on the phone rather than booking a survey. Send a clip of each room and we can price it properly in minutes.
Be straight with us about the stairs, the lift and the parking, because at this notice there is no time to find out on the day. Parking is yours to arrange, at both ends. Legal, usable space next to the door is the single biggest cause of a move running late, so we raise it when we quote rather than on the morning.
What we cannot promise
We will not tell you yes and then let you down, because that is the thing that got you here in the first place. If we cannot cover your date, you will hear it on the phone rather than the night before.
At short notice you get less choice of start time — you may have to take the slot that is free rather than the one you wanted. Morning moves start around 8am. Afternoon bookings usually start between 12 and 1. You get a confirmed time before the day.
We work weekends and most bank holidays. We close on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Out-of-hours moves can be arranged subject to availability, at an adjusted rate.

Questions people ask
How do I get a price?
For anything large or awkward we will do a survey, in person or over video. For everything else, photos or a short video of the rooms are enough. Photos tell us the volume, the access and anything unusual. That is what makes a quote accurate instead of a number we have to revise on the day.
Do you charge by the hour?
Almost every job we quote is a fixed price. Hourly only makes sense on the rare job where nobody can say what is coming — a clearance, or a load still being sorted. We will tell you if yours is one of them.
Are you insured?
£50,000 goods in transit and £5 million public liability, and the goods cover can be increased on request. Ask and we will email you the certificate.
Who sorts the parking?
Parking is yours to arrange, at both ends. Legal, usable space next to the door is the single biggest cause of a move running late, so we raise it when we quote rather than on the morning.
How much notice do you need?
One to two weeks for a small move, three to four weeks for a whole house. Ring if it is sooner — we keep room for short notice.
