Removals in Battersea
Battersea has changed more than anywhere else we work. Nine Elms and the Power Station development sit next to streets of Victorian terraces that have not changed in a century, and the two need completely different handling.

What moving in Battersea is actually like
New-build towers with concierges, goods lifts and strict move-in windows on one side; the Shaftesbury Estate and the roads off Lavender Hill, which are small, pretty terraces with narrow staircases, on the other.
Parking and access
The new developments run move-ins by appointment: a booked lift, a time slot, protective covers on the walls, and insurance documents sent ahead. Miss the slot and you wait. Book your window with the building first and tell us when it is, because turning up hopeful does not work in Nine Elms.
Parking is yours to arrange, at both ends. Legal, usable space next to the door is the single biggest cause of a move running late, so we raise it when we quote rather than on the morning.
Why being close matters
If you are moving into one of the Power Station or Nine Elms buildings, find out your move-in window before you get a quote. It changes which day we come and sometimes what time we start.

Straight answers
Removals in Battersea — the questions we get asked
How much is a removal in Battersea?
It depends on the volume, the distance and the access at both ends. We are about fifteen minutes away, so there is no long drive to pay for before the work starts. Send photos and you will have a fixed price back.
Do you do small moves in Battersea?
Yes. One room, a few boxes, a single sofa — that is a man and van job and it is priced as one, not as a cut-down house move.
Can you do a Battersea move at the weekend?
We work weekends and most bank holidays. We close on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Weekend slots go early, particularly at the end of the month.
Are you insured?
£50,000 goods in transit and £5 million public liability, and the goods cover can be increased on request. We will email you the certificate before you book.
