Removals in Chelsea
Chelsea is mansion blocks, mews houses and tall terraces off the King’s Road. Most moves here are decided by access, not distance.

What moving in Chelsea is actually like
The mansion blocks around Sloane Square and along the Embankment usually come with a porter, a booked lift slot and rules about where a van can stand. Mews houses sit on narrow cobbled lanes, and many terraced houses have a steep stair down to a lower ground floor.
Parking and access
A van needs a parking suspension booked with Kensington and Chelsea council to stand outside legally, and it has to be booked ahead. We tell you how much space we need when we quote, so you can apply in good time.
Parking is yours to arrange, at both ends. Legal, usable space next to the door is the single biggest cause of a move running late, so we raise it when we quote rather than on the morning.
Building rules
Many blocks want a mover’s insurance details before the day and set fixed times for the lift. Send us the building’s move rules and we will work to them.

Prices
What a move in Chelsea costs
Every job gets a fixed price, agreed in writing before the day. There is no hourly meter and nothing added on the morning.
Four things set the price: how much you are moving, how many people and vans it needs, the stairs, lifts and parking at both ends, and whether you want packing or furniture taken apart and rebuilt.
Send photos or a list of what is going, by WhatsApp or through the quote form, and we will come back with a fixed price for your move.

Straight answers
Removals in Chelsea — the questions we get asked
How much is a removal in Chelsea?
It depends on the volume, the distance and the access at both ends: lift bookings, stairs and how close the van can park. Send photos and you will have a fixed price back.
Can you work with my building’s porter and lift booking?
Yes. Send us the building’s move-in rules and we will work to the booked times and send our insurance certificate to the managing agent.
Can you do a Chelsea move at the weekend?
We work weekends and most bank holidays. We close on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Weekend slots go early, particularly at the end of the month.
Are you insured?
£50,000 goods in transit and £5 million public liability, and the goods cover can be increased on request. We will email you the certificate before you book.
