When man and van is the right call
If it fits in one van load and does not need a full crew, you should not be paying house-removal money for it. That covers single items, a room's worth of things, a studio or small one-bed, a marketplace collection, or a run to and from storage.
If it is more than that we will say so, because underestimating a job helps nobody — you end up with a second trip and a longer day.
Still a fixed price
A fixed written price before we start. No hourly meter, no bill that grows while you watch. The same applies to the small jobs. Send a photo of what is going and where it is going from, and you get a number.
Parking is yours to arrange, at both ends. Legal, usable space next to the door is the single biggest cause of a move running late, so we raise it when we quote rather than on the morning.
What we will and will not take
Furniture, boxes, appliances, bikes, garden things, the awkward items a courier turns down. For insurance reasons we cannot carry passengers or pets in the van.
We take away and dispose of unwanted furniture, to a recycling centre or to a charity where it can be reused.

How do I get a price?
For anything large or awkward we will do a survey, in person or over video. For everything else, photos or a short video of the rooms are enough. Photos tell us the volume, the access and anything unusual. That is what makes a quote accurate instead of a number we have to revise on the day.
Do you charge by the hour?
Almost every job we quote is a fixed price. Hourly only makes sense on the rare job where nobody can say what is coming — a clearance, or a load still being sorted. We will tell you if yours is one of them.
Are you insured?
£25,000 goods in transit and £5 million public liability, and the goods cover can be increased on request. Ask and we will email you the certificate.

How much notice do you need?
One to two weeks for a small move, three to four weeks for a whole house. Ring if it is sooner — we keep room for short notice.
