What moving in Streatham is actually like
Telford Park and the roads around Streatham Common are large Edwardian houses. Along the High Road and towards Streatham Vale it is flats, conversions and purpose-built blocks from the thirties with stairs and no lift.
Parking and access
Streatham High Road is a red route in places and you cannot stop on it. Almost every move here works off a side street, which is fine as long as we know before the day rather than circling.
Parking is yours to arrange, at both ends. Legal, usable space next to the door is the single biggest cause of a move running late, so we raise it when we quote rather than on the morning.
Why being close matters
A lot of Streatham moves are people leaving Clapham or Brixton for more space. That is a ten-minute run for us, which is why it comes out cheaper than people expect.
