From first call to last box
Your seamless moving
process timeline
Five steps, and you know where you are at every one of them. For anything large or awkward we will do a survey, in person or over video. For everything else, photos or a short video of the rooms are enough. Wondering what it will come to? Here is what a move actually costs.
- Tell us what is moving
A call, a WhatsApp, or a video walk-round of the rooms. Ninety seconds of phone footage is usually enough.
- Get a fixed price in writing
Itemised, with what is included spelled out. No hourly meter and nothing added on the morning.
- We confirm the date and the time
Morning moves start around 8am, afternoons between 12 and 1. You get a confirmed time, not a four-hour window.
- Moving day
A crew briefed on your job before they set off. Wrapped, strapped, loaded and driven.
- Unloaded, rebuilt, done
Beds and wardrobes back together, boxes in the right rooms, and we take the empties away if you want them gone.
What moving day looks like
Before
After
Dismantling and reassembly
The bed that came apart in Balham goes back together in Streatham. Beds, wardrobes and tables — tell us in advance and the time is booked for it.
Before
After
Packing, done properly
We bring the boxes, the paper and the tape. Every box labelled by the room it is going to, not by what is inside it.
Empty
Loaded
Empty at eight, loaded by lunchtime
Blankets, straps and trolleys go in before anything else does. Everything is wrapped as it is loaded and strapped in line by line, so nothing shifts on the drive.
Before
After
Flat-pack built from the box
Panels against the wall in the morning, a wardrobe standing in the corner by the afternoon. Book it with a move or on its own.
More from the vans
Reviewed where you can check
We value our customers, and their trust in us for all their moving and logistics needs.
We do not print testimonials.
Anybody can write a nice paragraph, sign it “Sarah, Balham” and put it on their own website. It costs nothing and it proves nothing. Ours sit on Google under our own listing, where they show up whether they flatter us or not and where nobody can quietly delete the ones that do not.
Customer satisfaction is our priority
The Fastiya difference
Why choose us?
A removals company is only as good as the day it turns up. Here is what we hold ourselves to.
Agreed before we start. No hourly meter, and the number on the quote is the number you pay.
Our office is on Trinity Road in Tooting, in the middle of the patch we work. When a completion time slips, that is an inconvenience rather than a disaster.
£50,000 goods in transit, more on request, £5 million public liability. Certificate on request.
Your things go on the van and come off at the other end. No depot in the middle, nothing handled twice.
Beds, wardrobes and tables. Tell us in advance and the time is booked for it.
Mon–Sat 8am–10pm · Sun 9am–10pm, weekends and most bank holidays included. We close on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
A completion moves, or the mover you booked does not turn up. Ring rather than email — we hold room in the diary for short notice and can often do it the same day.
Furniture you no longer want does not go in a skip if somebody can still use it. Where it is in good condition we pass it on to someone who needs it. There is a charge for taking it away, and it goes on the total balance to pay.
Areas we cover
Where we work, and what
it is like to move there
Not twelve copies of the same page with the name swapped. These are the streets, the councils and the parking rules we actually deal with.
Where we are. Victorian terraces off Garratt Lane and Mitcham Road, almost all of it controlled parking. We know which streets a Luton will not fit down.
Removals in Tooting → Balham SW12Wandsworth CouncilThe Heaver Estate and the roads off Nightingale Lane — big houses split into maisonettes, parked solid both sides. Usually a suspended bay and a shuttle.
Removals in Balham → Clapham SW4Lambeth CouncilConversion country. Tall Victorian houses cut into three or four flats, with a communal stair and a landing that will not take a sofa on its side.
Removals in Clapham → Wandsworth SW18Wandsworth CouncilRiverside blocks wanting a booked loading bay and insurance sent ahead, and the Tonsleys, which are pretty and impossible to park on. Earlsfield and Southfields too.
Removals in Wandsworth → Putney SW15Wandsworth CouncilMansion blocks with generous flats and tight stairwells, and a lot of sharers moving a room at a time rather than a whole flat.
Removals in Putney → Battersea SW11Wandsworth CouncilNine Elms and the Power Station run move-ins by appointment — booked lift, time slot, wall covers. Miss the slot and you wait. We book them properly.
Removals in Battersea → Streatham SW16Lambeth CouncilTelford Park houses and thirties blocks with stairs and no lift. The High Road is a red route in places, so every move here works off a side street.
Removals in Streatham → Wimbledon SW19Merton CouncilTwo places in one. Village lanes too tight for a Luton, where we shuttle with a smaller van; and the Broadway, which is loading bays and controlled parking.
Removals in Wimbledon → Brixton SW2Lambeth CouncilFlats above the shops with one narrow stair and a sharp turn at the top. We start Brixton jobs early and work off the side streets.
Removals in Brixton → Mitcham CR4Merton CouncilEasier than most of our patch. Driveways and unrestricted roads are normal rather than lucky, and that comes out in the price.
Removals in Mitcham → Colliers Wood SW19Merton CouncilAbout ten minutes down the A24. New blocks by the station wanting a booked lift, older terraces behind.
Removals in Colliers Wood → Morden SM4Merton CouncilInterwar semis with gardens and somewhere to put the van. Mostly people leaving Tooting and Balham for more space — a run we do constantly.
Removals in Morden →Where to find us
