What we collect
When you ask for a quote we collect your name, phone number, email address, the addresses you are moving between, and whatever you tell us about the job — including any photos or video you send us.
If you book, we also keep a record of the work carried out and the payment made.
Why we hold it
To quote for your move, to carry it out, to invoice you, and to deal with anything that comes up afterwards. We do not sell your details to anybody and we do not pass them on for marketing.
Who sees it
Our own staff, and where a job requires it, the storage facility or any subcontractor working on your move. Our insurer if there is a claim. Nobody else.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted after twelve months. Records of completed jobs are kept for six years, which is what HMRC and our insurer require.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email info@fastiya.com and we will respond within a month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
